Board Bill Blues

Board Bill Blues, aka Blue, a 1997, grey, registered TB mare, was sold early in 2006 to Jessi Farestvedt. Blue’s achievements before being sold consisted of eating excessive amounts of grass, running three races in Canada as a two-year-old placing last, last and next to last, respectively (she was improving) and competing in one dressage show, where she placed at training level. On the positive side, she was a joy to have around the barn and added a bit of color to our otherwise brown, brown and more brown field.

Now Blue has found her true calling. Renamed Genuine Blue, she and Jessi are taking the San Jacinto Hunter Association shows by storm. They are currently in lead position, and we have high hopes of them winning Grand Champion at Schooling Hunter level, in 2007. We’ll keep our eyes on Jessi -- and who knows, maybe she’ll end up with Pumpkin, too!
